Anytime that a MotoGP rider can win their home Grand Prix it is a big bragging point, but when your home country is Spain the stakes are just a little higher.
Three of the top four riders call Spain their home, but once again it would be Jorge Lorenzo and his custom designed, graffiti style RPHA 10 besting them all to come out on top. Jorge shot off of his front row spot on the grid, narrowly beat the field to turn 1 and never looked back, taking his third win of the season in dominating fashion.
After the race, Jorge celebrated on the podium with the designer of his helmet livery for this event, Anna Vives.
Next up for the MotoGP riders is Assen on June 29.
